Privacy Statement

Dekker Zevenhuizen B.V. (hereinafter also referred to as: 'Dekker') cannot perform its business activities without processing personal data. We attach great importance to your privacy and therefore to the protection of your personal data. All data that we receive from you, or that we lawfully obtain from third parties or public registers, will be securely protected, stored and kept confidential.

Which personal data

In order to offer you the best possible service, we require some personal details from you, including your first and last name, initials, gender, address, telephone number, email address and bank account number. Personal data that you provide to Dekker on your own initiative, for example in correspondence with Dekker or when creating your profile on the website of Dekker, will also be processed by Dekker. Dekker only processes personal data in accordance with the purpose for which they are provided, i.e. our work based on the agreement you have entered into with us, to deliver goods and provide services to you, for relationship management, to send newsletters, for advertising purposes and to tailor our products and services to your preferences. The processing of your personal data is limited to the personal data that are at a minimum required for the purposes for which they are processed.

Collection of personal data

Dekker asks for your explicit consent to the processing of your personal data. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. In addition, the personal data we receive may come from retailers, online platforms through which you have submitted a product inquiry.

Exchange of personal data with third parties

Without your explicit, prior written consent, we will not provide your personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary for carrying out the aforementioned purposes or when it is required and permitted by law.

If we use the services of third parties, the agreements on data transfer will be laid down in a data processing agreement. The personal data may only be used for the purpose described in the data processing agreement. We do not provide personal data to parties located outside the European Union.

Data protection

Dekker has taken the appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data. We strive to prevent any loss or unlawful processing. However, should a data breach occur, we will inform the Dutch Data Protection Authority, if required.

Retention of personal data

We will store your personal data securely and comply with the legally set retention periods. Dekker will not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or as required by law.

Secrecy and Confidentiality

Dekker and its employees have a duty of confidentiality. We will handle your personal data with care and keep it confidential.

Your rights

When we process your data, you have certain rights as a data subject. You are entitled to information about the processing, you have the right to access your personal data, the right to rectification of your personal data if it is inaccurate, the right to erasure of your personal data, and the right to be forgotten. As a data subject, you also have the right to object to the processing of (part of) your personal data. Finally, you have the right to have the personal data you have provided us with transmitted to you or another party. If you want to make use of one of the aforementioned rights, you can submit a request. Please include a copy of your identity card with your request. Cookies

To optimize and analyse our services, we use functional, analytical and tracking cookies. Dekker uses Google Analytics and Google Adwords, among others. For this reason,

Dekker has entered into a data processing agreement with Google. The cookies used by Dekker ensure that the website of Dekker continues to work properly and that we can optimize it at all times.

Also, the preferences you set can be saved, so that when you visit the website again, you do not have to set them again. When you visit the website for the first time, Dekker will notify you and ask your explicit permission for the use of cookies. Of course, you can remove the previously saved information at any time via your browser settings.

Social media and websites of third parties

Via social media, we share relevant news items. We use a button that takes you to the LinkedIn website. On our website you may find hyperlinks to websites of third parties. Although these

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, please contact us. In addition to your right to lodge a complaint with us, you can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Amendments

Dekker reserves the right to make amendments to the privacy statement. This enables us to stay up to date with legislation and regulations. We therefore recommend that you consult this privacy statement regularly.
